Movida is all about sport. Anyone looking for something else can be reported and banned.
“Nobody plays my sport.”
Movida has 30 sports. You’ll find people for each one, even for cricket or chess.
You decide who you meet. And we keep an eye out too.
Report or block someone right from their profile. Blocked people can’t see you any more.
We usually review reports within 24 hours. If someone breaks the rules, we ban the account.
If you like, you can meet only in groups of women or only with men.
The app deletes event chats automatically 24 hours after the event. Nothing hangs around for ever.
Meet in a public place the first time: on the court, in the park or at the sports hall.
Movida is for ages 18 and up. Respect, no harassment, no spam: our rules apply to everyone.
Yes. Every profile shows a photo, sports and level. The photos and video on this page were taken at meetups through Movida. The chats above are examples.
No. Movida is free. There’s no subscription and no hidden costs.
No. Movida is about sport. Anyone looking for something else is in the wrong place and can be reported.
Movida started in Berlin. Other cities aren’t on board yet. Join the waitlist and we’ll let you know as soon as it launches in your city.

In your profile, you set your level for each sport. The app then suggests people and events that match.
18 or older. You confirm this when you sign up.
Yes. You create an event on the map, others see it and join.
We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising. The app data is stored on servers in the EU. You’ll find everything else in the privacy policy.
We’re three bachelor’s students from Berlin. Between lectures and exams, we build Movida. Because we know first-hand how hard it is to find people for your sport.
